Women’s Fellowship News for January 2016

Evening Women’s Fellowship

Fourteen ladies attended our elegant Christmas Tea on December 15. Every inch of Laura Beebe’s home was exquisitely decorated for the Christmas season. The food was fabulous. Thank you to Alison Kieft for making the arrangements for us to enjoy this festive event. The profit from this event will be given to “Adopt An Angel”, a charity that provides for needy children in our area.

The January 13, 2016, meeting will be at the home of Sandi Reeder, 35719 Scarborough Drive, Newark, 791-2152, at 7:00 p.m. The study will be “Tamar, David’s Daughter,” and the scripture is 2 Samuel 13:1-22. This lesson provides a glimpse into the internal devastation experienced by victims of sexual violence and exploitation. It challenges us to call out for justice. All women are invited.

Daytime Women’s Fellowship

Daytime Women’s Fellowship will meet on January 18 at noon in the fellowship hall. Bring a lunch. Dessert and coffee will be provided. Everyone is welcome!

Lap Robe Tying Group:

After our winter break, the lap robe tying group will resume their monthly meetings on Wednesday, January 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. All ladies are invited but let Dorletta Larsen know if you plan to attend as lunch is provided.

If you know someone who would like one of the lap robes or a group that could use several lap robes, let Alison Kieft, Judy Molander or Dorletta Larsen know. There is no charge for the lap robes.
