Bridges to be built at Interfaith Picnic

The Tri-City Interfaith Council invites you to participate in the second annual World Interfaith Harmony Picnic. The picnic will be held on August 29, 2:00-4:00 p.m., at Meyer Park, 38225 Glenmore Dr., Fremont.

The public is encouraged to bring family, chairs, an umbrella, toys for kids, and finger foods to share. Drinks and paper products will be provided.

“Our goal is for people to eat, play, and talk about all the things that make our diverse community such an amazing place to live,” says organizer Moina Shaiq. She hopes that people from Atheist, Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Unitarian Universalist, and other traditions will be present to enjoy the company, learn about each other, and celebrate.
