Worship on the road is “working”

“I think it’s going really working,” Pastor Jeff Spencer said of the church’s experience of holding Sunday morning worship services at the Macau Cultural Center, 109 J Street. “Attendance is holding steady and the choir is really helping out,” he said.

“This is showing how the church really is the people and not the building,” Pastor Brenda said.

Pastor Jeff has been arriving early to get the heat turned on. Volunteers are coming around 8:30 or 9:00 to set up chairs, the sound system, and the keyboard. Volunteers are taking care of clean-up, too. Many hands make this sort of work light, so more volunteers are encouraged.
