The February special offering will go to SAVE – Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments. While some people fill ditty bags with personal hygiene items for women who come to the shelter from violent homes, often with only the clothing on their backs, the rest of us are encourage to give a financial offering to support the vital work of South Alameda County’s largest domestic violence shelter and intervention service. You can learn more about SAVE at http://save-dv.org/. The offering will be received on February 8.
Thanks to your generosity, the January special offering for Tri-City Volunteers raised $1045.
You can see the schedule of special offerings at http://j.mp/1EA735B or call the church office and Randy will mail you one.
