January Special Offering

The January special offering will go to Tri-City Volunteers, an organization with deep connections to our congregation. Started by women from our predecessor congregations, Tri-City Volunteers provides food assistance and low cost clothing and household items to the residents of Alameda County. As the largest client-direct food bank in the area, TCV serves up to 16,000 individuals every month through their food cart and bag lunch programs. With a staff of 10, a volunteer force of almost 1,900, and a budget that barely breaks $600,000, TCV is extremely efficient in distributing over 6 million pounds of food annually.
