Time capsule’s “Grand Opening”

25 years ago, at the Centennial of the founding of Niles Congregational Church, a time capsule was buried in the Narthex at 255 H Street. The time capsule was dug up about 10 months ago, just before the facility was sold.

The Cabinet decided to have a “grand opening” of the time capsule during coffee hour on Sunday, December 28, our last Sunday at 255 H Street. Details for the “grand opening” are still being worked out, so if you have a memory of the creation and burial of the time capsule, please speak to Pastor Jeff.

The contents of the time capsule will go into the church’s archives or may be included in a time capsule to be buried at 36600 Niles Blvd sometime in 2015.
