Pastors to host “Stories from …” series

If these walls could talk

Pastors Jeff and Brenda will host a series of gatherings for story sharing. To be held in different rooms in our facility at 255 H Street during the month of January, participants are invited to come and share stories and memories connected to the various rooms.

“As we draw closer to the sale of the building, it seemed to me to be a good time to invite people to share memories and stories connected to the building,” Pastor Jeff explained. “I thought of that old expression, ‘If these walls could talk,’ and thought, why not gather within those walls and share our stories. The gatherings will have a minimal agenda – they will begin and end with prayer, and in between we will listen to each other.”

“I’m envisioning small groups,” Pastor Jeff said. “There will be gatherings at various times of day and different days of the week with the hope that people can find one that will fit their schedules.”

There will be twelve gatherings in all, three for each of four areas:  the preschool room, Ford Hall, the choir room, and the sanctuary. Here’s the schedule, organized by room.

Room Saturday Daytime 11:00 a.m. Evening 7:30 p.m.
