Construction and sale update

The congregation voted unanimously to adopt a revised construction budget of $3 million at a Special Congregational Meeting on December 15, 2013. This includes money for contingencies.

As of the press deadline, the Construction Team was waiting on final plan approvals from the City of Fremont so construction permits could be issued. They are now hoping for a ground breaking this month.

The details of the offer to purchase 255 H Street continue to be processed. The church’s lawyer reviewed the purchase agreement and approved it. The Cabinet released the “owner’s contingency” clause at their meeting on December 16. The purchaser has been doing various inspections as probably purchase moves, slowly, toward escrow.
